Enterprising Newcastle - School Business Awards 2013

Successful night for All Saints College

Students from Yr 11 and Yr 12 marked the end of the year in style last night, by picking up two awards at the Enterprise Newcastle - School Business Awards.

The Enterprising Newcastle School Business Awards recognises the achievements of those who have engaged in Enterprise events over the past calendar year.

The Yr 11 Olympade team picked up the "Healthy Contribution Award" which was sponsored by the Newcastle United Foundation. Jermaine Havrey, Sarah Ormston, Rachel Curry, Thomas Scrivens, Daniel Rodden, Chris Wake and Shannon Allman worked really hard on the idea and truly deserved the recognition they achieved.

All Saints students Georgia Scott, Jade Shilling & Lucy O'Brien were also rewarded for their efforts on the Bubble Challenge from Denise Robertson MBE who is the Patron of the Bubble Foundation. The total amount raised by schools across Newcastle was over £13,500 which is a massive achievement by all pupils.
Finally the award for "Enterprising Student of 2012-2013" was awarded to our very own Jermaine Havrey. This is an amazing achievement which marks a very successful 5 years at All Saints. Jermaine has always had a keen interest in Business and has displayed a vast array of Enterprise Skills over the past two years during his studies. Jermaine hopes to go onto university to study Business and I have no doubt he will be a success in whatever path he decides to follow.

Well done to all involved and thank you for your excellent contributions.
