The next Mike Ashley?

NUFC supporting the next crop of ASC Entrepreneurs.

This acedemic year has seen the link with NUFC blossom and become a major succss story for both parties.

Over 200 students from Yr 7 - 10 have been invovled in numerous projects throughout the year.

Yr 7&8 The Launch of Enterprise

Day at St James Park to take part in a range of Enterprise Activities. Students took part in an activity called Magpie Market which gave students the opportunity to work in teams designing and selling shirts in the style of a market trader. Students also took part in an activity called "Buying a club" where students studied in depth the pros and cons of buying a local football club and had to give a presentation highlighting reasons for their decisions.

Yr 9 & 10 Enterprise Challenge

North East Challenge for schools across the region to compete against each other on a range of activities. Students had to design an APP and market their idea giving presentations and selling ideas to judges.

Yr 7 Maths Enterprise Day

Students spent the day at NUFC working on a number of Maths problems. Activities included creating a cash flow for a Premiership footballer and also helping the manager of the team balance the books during the transfer market.

OCR Entry Level Qualification in Enterprise

Over 50 students from Yr 7 - 9 have undertaken a 10 week programme which focuses on the key elements of Enterprise.
